Sea Lavender, North Norfolk

Each Summer Sea Lavender comes into flower in and around the creeks that lie close to the beaches along North Norfolk’s coast line. They form a carpet of blue and purple, which to the eye is captivating. This image was completed from watercolour sketches and photographs taken, sat behind the sand dunes close to Brancaster beach.

Size – 31″ x 9.5″

Media – soft pastel on board.

This album comprises of six new songs and four songs that have never been previously recorded. Track 8, “The Road” appeared on the last CD, but I have since added lyrics in the form of a bridge and so re-recorded it. The art-work, I created while on holiday on the isle of Mull off the Scottish coast and in North Norfolk, England.

All the tracks on this album were recorded live between October and November 2015. Six of the songs are new and the other four  though not written during the year, have not been recorded before. The images on the cover and inlay card were completed using soft pastels, while on holiday in Scotland and on the Norfolk coast.
